Q. Where are you from?
A. My parents immigrated from Taiwan to the United States in their twenties where they pursued their master’s degree. I was born in Queens, NY and raised on Long Island, NY.
Q. What Did you study in college?
A. I attended Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. At the time, I had an interest in criminal psychology and was interested in eventually making my way into the FBI.
Q. What did you do after Graduating college?
A. After I graduated from college, I landed a job as a laboratory technician at the Public Health Research Institute in New Jersey and worked there for a year and a half. During this time, I decided to commit to pursuing a career in dentistry and decided to acquire a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences before applying to dental school. I am currently a dental student at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and will be expecting to graduate in 2023.
Q. How did you meet your fiancée?
A. I first met Eunice in our Dental Histology class in our master's program at Rutgers University. After talking here and there throughout the busy semester, I asked her to catch a showing of Frozen on Broadway. From that night sprouted a relationship of traveling through blizzards, long train rides, and sleepless nights of texting just to get to know each other better. Now, we’re counting down the days until we get married!
